Yoga Class Information   

All yoga classes are beginner level, gentle yoga classes open to everyone with a focus on alignment, breath awareness, mind-body connection with a focus on informed choices about participation level.

Class options include (both group and private 1:1 sessions):

Beginner Yoga
Yoga for Chronic Pain Management

Trauma-Informed Yoga

Yoga Class Options

Anyone and every body welcome of all levels and genders for all classes.

Yoga for Chronic Pain Management

Specialized gentle beginner-level yoga class open to everyone including those with chronic pain.

Participants choose their participation level, range of motion, and pace to suit their energy and pain levels. Options presented to allow participants to adjust postures to suit their physical sensations and class intentions. This is not a chair yoga class. No drop-ins offered.

Trauma-Informed Yoga

A specialized gentle beginner level yoga class open to everyone of all levels including those who have experienced trauma, PTSD, and anxiety.

In this class, we support participants to reconnect to their body and regulate difficult emotions through breath awareness, mindfulness, movement, and guided meditation. No hands-on assists or drop-ins are offered.

Pre-registration is mandatory for these classes with the Cornwall Town Hall. Please call 902-566-2354 or register in person at the Cornwall Town Hall or register online at cornwallpe.ca
